EPA SmartWay program requirements and has the capabilities to perform the required model calculations and guide development of the SmartWay Action Plan needed to complete the membership process. Emisstar is working closely with the US EPA to pioneer the expansion of the SmartWay program to encompass a wider range of emissions and better support drayage and short-haul fleets, in addition to long-haul fleets.

Testing Services
Assessing emissions and energy technology in real-world and laboratory environments
Emisstar utilizes portable emission measurement systems (PEMS) and low-cost carbon measurement (LCCM™) technologies, as well as engine and chassis test facilities to measure and quantify the baseline emission levels of mobile sources and the environmental performance of air emissions control technologies, fuels, additives and alternative energy sources. We work in partnership with industry and government to provide a unique combination of research, testing, analysis and reporting services to deliver meaningful results to our clients.
