Sustainable Transportation Services
Emisstar manages the development and implementation of multi-phase plans to elevate on-road and non-road fleets to sustainable transportation levels, in terms of reducing greenhouse gas and other emissions, creating fuel savings, improving operations and complying with regulations. We help our clients create climate change mitigation strategies that incorporate promising technologies, fuels and processes to improve transportation efficiency and save money, while simultaneously reducing their carbon footprint.
In addition, Emisstar advises clients on the
EPA SmartWay program requirements and has the capabilities to perform the required model calculations and guide development of the SmartWay Action Plan needed to complete the membership process. Emisstar is working closely with the US EPA to pioneer the expansion of the SmartWay program to encompass a wider range of emissions and better support drayage and short-haul fleets, in addition to long-haul fleets.
